Safety not only during a pandemic
The elevator cabin is a relatively small and enclosed space, often without any ventilation. This can pose a health risk. The interior surface of the elevator cabin, the buttons and handrails are places with potentially high levels of viruses and bacteria. In addition to keeping people apart, limiting the number of passengers in the car and wearing masks, antimicrobial cleaning of elevator cabins is needed to minimize the risk of infection transmission.
We offer a flexible and effective solution for actively disinfecting elevator cabins. A professional system comprising of two different technologies with certified products for disinfecting elevator cabins in minutes. Certified according to UNI EN ISO 14644.
- A versatile device that can be installed in any elevator to significantly reduce the risk of infection. The device is installed on the roof of the elevator cabin and provides silent operation without any vibration.
- The technology features proprietary electronics that allow the device to operate the air purification and UV-C lamp activation independently of the elevator unit electronics.
A mechanical ventilation system with centrifugal motor and HEPA filter ensures continuous air purification in the elevator cabin. The air is sucked out of the cabin into the equipment to filter and eliminate any viruses and bacteria and then returned to the elevator cabin.
Technical parameters
The system uses the same UV-C ultraviolet light as is used for disinfection in a hospital environment (UVGI - Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation) and thus provides complete and almost instantaneous sterilization of the elevator cabin surfaces.
The UV-C light is activated automatically and safely when the elevator is not in use and there are no passengers in the car. Proper operation of the LED lamp is ensured by a volume motion sensor.
